5012-5012 Foundations of Clinical Problem Solving

This one-semester course is designed to introduce the concepts of evidence-based medicine and critical appraisal of medical literature for PA students. Through lectures, small group work, writing assignments, and journal club, students will learn about key techniques for evaluating the literature in meaningful ways to determine what information should be used in clinical decision-making.
